Power Window Regulator Repair in San Diego
The window that will not move.
The regulator is the mechanism that lifts your window; the motor drives it. When either fails, the window drops, grinds, stops partway or does nothing at all. We replace the failed part at your curb, same-day in most cases.

We work with every major insurance carrier.
We bill them directly, open the claim with you on the call, and take up to $250 off your comprehensive deductible.
Not yours? We bill every other major carrier too, and chip repairs are usually covered in full.
Regulator or motor: how to tell.
If you hear the motor run but the glass does not move, or moves crookedly, the regulator has failed: a frayed cable, a broken clip or a bent arm. If you press the switch and hear nothing, the motor is usually the problem, though a fuse or switch can do the same thing. The technician checks all of it before replacing anything.
The repair.
Door panel off, glass secured, failed regulator or motor out, new one in. The glass is re-seated in the track and the window is cycled to check alignment and speed. Then the door is resealed and the panel goes back on. On most vehicles the whole thing happens in your driveway.
